Winter Harbour is on the edge of the world! It is the calm and serene waters of the Sound meet the wild and untamed West Coast. Winter Harbour is well known for its incredible fishing. It is a little community of 20 people who cater to the adventurist and fisherman alike. Winter Harbour is about an hour boat ride from Coal Harbour, through the Quatsino Narrows and down Quatsino Sound. Wales, eagles and sea otters are often seen on the ride. Ice cream and souvenirs can be found in Winter Harbour, a great place to take a little walk and watch fishermen cleaning their day's catch!
